Frankland's 1836 map of Hobart. We are just inside the Town Boundary.
There's a bit about a dairy I will get back to.
The main house was built in 1900 for Mr Hall.
He was a removalist and it was fortunate for him that an existing stable was already on his lot.
Apparently the horse lived in the stable and the human lived in the house.
1926 saw the building of a garage to house 'the first motor car in West Hobart'.
2010 and the garage is now sprawling and a work of art in it's own right.
